Kids. Together. Nature. Connect.
Developing our nature
Nature and play are two very important experiences for us, especially our children. Nature not only encourages the development of our emotions, social interaction and physical health, it also stimulates our senses allowing us to come into connection with our body and our environment.
What we offer
Changing Leaves offers alternative provision to children who can’t access school. We also offer therapeutic intervention to children who suffered trauma, and children who have SEND requirements.
All our sessions are held outdoors, where your child can feel as free as a bird, in a calm environment.
We offer 1:1 therapeutic interventions and group sessions (maximum 10 children).
1:1:
Our interventions are offered in blocks of 6 weekly sessions, where we spend our time outside taking part in different activities, such as art, walking, playing and gardening. We work in 3 stages, the first is connection to ourself through our sense and nature. The second is therapeutic intervention where we will explore our feelings and why we are feeling this way. The third is growth, how can we resource ourselves so we can grow into the person we want to be.
Groups sessions:
We spend our time outside doing activities such as walking, playing, cooking, creating art and gardening. During each session the group will share lunch together, which has been cooked by the group on the campfire. Our food will vary from country-to-county so we get to experience food from all around the world.
